Aston Martin V12 Vantage S, 2015 -- Today From Winding Road Magazine -- Are We Living in an Age of the Demise of Style?

Are we living in an age of the demise of style?

The 2015 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S is driven today
already in the video below from Winding Road Magazine.

The car has a great motor sound,
but the interior looks to be straight out of proletarian laboratories,
or are we missing something here?

Is this faceless interior just for testing?

Or has the noble style that formerly marked the Aston Martin
disappeared entirely in favor of bland, simple utility, without any pzazz?

Has the virtual lack of design, pioneered by things like the minimalist Apple company products in technology, become the fashion of our day -- reflecting the uncreative mediocrity of the masses?

Car designers have to try to remember that the engine is just the beginning, not the end of automobile manufacture. If the interior of an Aston-Martin looks like an "afterthought", the description of one of the comments to a related video, then what justifies the high price?

It is what you put on top of the engine that makes the top auto brands, at least in the commercial sector, and that includes the interior.

An Aston Martin that looks like a stripped down rally racer is not our cup of tea, thank you. But then again, the people who buy this car, or not, decide.
